SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- As the Notre Dame football team prepared to take the field against Texas A&M in College Station on Saturday, Co-owner of CJ's Pub Judy Gish was here in South Bend, feeding the Fighting Irish faithful as she always has.
"We just get a lot of alumni coming back all the time. And it says a lot for us ..." Gish said.
"The building next to us kind of collapsed into our building, and we were closed for 11 months. And after that, we were jam packed. We were getting people calling from all over the country. You have to open. You have to open. So that's the testament to a mom-and-pop organization."
On Saturday, CJ's Pub celebrated its 40th year with a celebration and their CJs Super Pub American Cheeseburger with Chips on special.
