Man arrested for impersonating a police officer in Elkhart County

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- 23-year-old Malcolm Royer is now locked up for impersonating an officer.
Police said he pulled someone over in his car using flashing lights from a cell phone app around 1:45 a.m. on Thursday.
It happened on County Road 9 and State Road 119.
They said the person he pulled over knew something was wrong and called police.
