MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- Marshall County Coroner's Office was notified of a motor vehicle fatality on U.S. 30 near U.S. 31, Thursday around 9:43 p.m.
26-year-old, Thomas Diener, was stopped behind a broken-down vehicle that was being put onto a tow truck. A semi heading west struck both Diener's vehicle and the broken-down vehicle.
Diener was thrown from his pickup and died at the scene.
