Man shot in South Bend late Monday night

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A man was shot in the arm around 10:40 p.m. Monday in South Bend.

South Bend Police say they were called out to the 1800 block of Sibley Avenue, close to College Street and just south of Lincolnway West, around 10:40 pm to respond to the incident.

The bullet hit the man in the arm.

"They watch too much TV," said Dushon Taylor.

Taylor lives close to where the shooting occurred.

"They play too many bad videogames. Their parents aren't doing anything for them. They don't have any understanding, they don't have any knowledge."

Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
