It is time to lace up the running and walking shoes for the "March for Babies" walk put on by the March of Dimes Foundation.

Saturday at 8:30 a.m. registration will begin prior to walk at 9:30 a.m. The three mile walk will start at Four Winds Field in South Bend.
The walk goes to raise money for the March of Dimes Foundation. Money raised from the event goes to support programs to fund research, causes, and prevention for premature birth. Premature birth is the leading cause of death in babies, according to the March of Dimes Foundation.

At this year's event, the Mitros Family will be recognized. They had twin boys born premature who are now four years old and doing well.
