Martin's gives veterans free lunch

GRANGER, Ind. -- Martin's Super Markets honored our military personnel with a free lunch Sunday.

The Side Door Deli was dressed up for the occasion hanging flags from each branch of the military.

Those who bravely fought for our country lined up for chicken, mashed potatoes and even cake.

ABC57 spoke with a World War II veteran who was very grateful.

"Us World War II veterans have always been appreciated.  And, it's wonderful to be from a country like this where you are appreciated," said Frank Grabner, World War II veteran.

Hundreds of vets were grabbed a bite and were recognized.
