MDOT hosting virtual career fair on Sept. 16

The Michigan Department of Transportation is hosting a virtual career fair on September 16 to help fill seasonal and permanent roles throughout the state.

The fair will start at 3 pm and last until 7 pm.

According to MDOT, they need more than 100 limited-term winter maintenance workers in all regions of the state. The minimum requirement for this position is a valid Michigan Class B commercial driver’s license. All other training will be provided.

Other positions include electricians, internships, transportation engineers, transportation maintenance workers (seasonal and full-time), transportation planners, transportation technicians and other skilled trades and professional positions.
