Michiana businesses are gearing up for Valentine's Day

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- Valentine's Day is one of the busiest times of the year, for some Michiana businesses.

M David Diamonds, on Day Road, has seen a steady increase of foot traffic through the store.

Many of Michiana's finest husbands and boyfriends have been doing their last minute Valentine's Day shopping.

M David says that all of this last minute shopping is expected even in this countries poor economic state.

The store expects to see a big crowd again Tuesday.

If fine jewelry doesn't fit your budget, don't worry, maybe a flower bouquet ad balloons will do instead.

ABC 57 stopped by Kroger, Monday, to see what special floral arrangements are in store for Valentine's Day, they said that the roses are always the most popular.

Kroger is expected to sell almost $10,000 worth of flowers.
