Michigan City cancels parade, 4th of July fireworks

Michigan City has cancelled its annual summer parade and 4th of July fireworks because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Several other popular events have already been cancelled, including the Grand Prix Boat Race, the Taste of Michigan City and Michigan City Youth Baseball.
The city says it was a difficult decision to cancel the events.
