MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- The Michigan City Police Department was struck multiple times during a shooting near the BP gas station on E. Michigan Blvd.
The MCPD are investigating the shooting which targeted two 21-year-old men and neither of the men were injured by the gunfire at 3:25 a.m. on July 26.
The police station suffered damage to the exterior door of the main lobby and a second-floor office window.
Authorities verified no other people were injured or properties damaged in the shooting, and the incident is believed to be isolated.
