Michigan City Police investigating vehicle that drove into creek

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- Officers from the Michigan City Police Department responded to the area of 100 Water Street after the LaPorte County Regional Dispatch Center received a 911 call about a vehicle that drove into Trail Creek. Two adults were pulled from the vehicle and taken to Franciscan Hospital for medical treatment. They were then transferred to a hospital in the Chicago area for more advanced care and are currently in critical condition.
The Michigan City Police Department’s Investigative Division arrived at the scene and took over the investigation.
