Michigan man apologizes killing father, injuring family

PONTIAC, Mich. — A Michigan man convicted of killing his dad with a baseball bat apologized at his sentencing on Wednesday.

Tucker Cipriano was sentenced to life in prison without parole for killing his dad and injuring his mom and brother with the same aluminum bat.

In court on Wendesday, he apologized and shared kind words about lessons he learned from his father.

"He told me to hold my head up and be responsible and that includes taking responsibility for my actions," Cipriano said.

Another man who was also present during the attacks was also senteced to life in prison.

Investigators say the pair plotted to kill the entire family when they were looking for money to buy drugs.
