Middlebury scouts go 'Caroling for Cans' to help local food pantry

‘Tis the season to help the community in need.

Some Middlebury K through sixth graders went door to door caroling for cans.

Over 125 kids with their families, giving back to the community.

 Tracy Wogoman is a Patrol Leader with Girl Scouts of Middlebury.

“It was a brainstorm last year of how can we get the girls in the community and how can we get them to see there is a need,” said Wogoman.

Pam Bingaman is thankful that these kids are donating time to give back to the Food Pantry of Middlebury.

“For them to center on us and see there is a need at the food pantry is amazing,” said Bingaman.

Tuesday night in Middlebury, these kids helping to re-stock the pantry and earning a patch in return.

The food pantry is open Wednesday’s and Saturday’s and is located right next to the First Mennonite Church in Middlebury.
