Rain starts overnight likely in the early morning hours of Sunday, and sticks with us through the day on Sunday. Michiana continues to warm, with highs likely reaching the upper 50s and even low 60s for most of us. Widespread light rain through the morning; heavier pockets pick up in the early afternoon with a cold front sweeping through closer to the sunset hours. Rumbles of thunder likely, rainfall accumulation around 1.5 inches across our area, with areas in southern Michiana could see blustery conditions overnight Sunday into Monday. All of Michiana will see a rapid drop in temperatures, highs in the upper 20s for Monday with rain switching to snow overnight. Snowfall accumulations likely in the 1-3 inch range, with the cold conditions sticking into the New Year.
