The weather will be miserable through Tuesday, damp and windy with a cold rain, mixing with snow. Snow accumulation will be slushy and on the grass -- at best -- Tuesday morning. Tuesday the cold lake effect rain continues, as the wind gusts topping 30 mph, with stronger gusts closer to Lake Michigan. The weather gradually improves midweek and by the weekend all will be forgotten. Highs warm into the 70s Saturday and Sunday.
