Mishawaka Police close road after car crashes into pond

The Mishawaka Police Department responded to an accident where a driver drove their car into a pond Tuesday.

The call went out around 6:50 p.m.

Mishawaka Police posted to their Facebook page Tuesday night saying that a woman drove into the pond near the intersection of Douglas Road and Cottage Parkway.

Police closed that part of the road while working to get the vehicle out of the pond.

No one was injured during the accident.
