MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Police Department confirmed to ABC57 that it's actively investigating an overnight shooting after a man walked into an emergency room with gunshot wound to the leg.

Police say the victim stated he was at a party at an apartment complex in Mishawaka on Monday night. The victim told authorities he didn't remember which apartment complex he was at.

Authorities say officers checked the common hallways of a few local apartment complexes but found nothing.

Police say the victim provided very few details.
