Mishawaka school employee arrested

A Mishawaka school employee was arrested Wednesday.

The School City of Mishawaka issued a press release saying a support staff employee from LaSalle Elementary School was arrested on charges that are unrelated to the employee's work with students.
 
Those are the only details that are being released by the school corporation.
 
They say once the employee is released from police custody, that employee will be placed on unpaid leave, pending a further investigation.
