MISHAWAKA, Ind. – On Wednesday evening, the School City of Mishawaka Board of School Trustees voted unanimously on transitioning secondary students back to in-person learning four days a week.
Beginning February 25 students grade 7-12 will attend four days a week until April 1st, with Wednesdays being 100% virtual for all students.
After April 1st, students grade 7-12 will transition into five days of learning beginning April 12.
Secondary students who are currently 100% virtual may elect to continue virtual learning or the option to return to the building for in-person learning, more information will be shared by principals next week.
Daily start and end times for Jason Young Middle School and Mishawaka High School will remain the same.
The board stated that the seven elementary schools in Mishawaka will continue in their current plans for elementary students.
