Mom throws herself under car to save kids

LAWRENCE, Mass. -- A Massachusetts mother threw herself under a moving car to save her twin girls.

The 22-year-old is now in a wheelchair with a crushed knee and dislocated hip.

She says the car was in park with the girls inside when it started to roll down a hill and into a busy street.

"My daughters are my everything, my everything and I don't want to see them in the hospital and I knew at that time it was either mine or theirs," said Mindy Trans.

Firefighters had to use an airbag to lift the car off her.

Doctors say after a few more surgeries she should be okay.
