Storm track timing could be shifting
ELKHART, Ind. -- Monger Elementary School in Elkhart is closed today due to a water leak discovered at Monger Elementary.
Elkhart Community Schools released a statement this morning via Facebook:
"At 6:15 this morning, a water leak was discovered at Monger Elementary. As a result, today, January 23, 2025, will be an eLearning day for Monger Elementary School students only. All other Elkhart Community Schools students will continue with in-person learning as scheduled. We apologize for the late notice and any inconvenience this may cause, but our priority is ensuring the safety of our students."
The school plans to reopen on Friday, Jan. 24.
