In the wake of round one, the atmosphere has not refueled, so the threat for more severe thunderstorms overnight ( round two) has greatly decreased. Expect lightning and downpours after midnight.
Wednesday will start with thundershowers, heavy rain and minor flooding being the greatest risk. The rain clears by midday and the midweek is mild, less humid. Another quick-hitting system will bring a warm-up Friday-Saturday, thunderstorms and a cooler but fair day Sunday. The weather leading into the 4th of July will be seasonable.
Tonight: Overnight thunderstorms. Low 68.
Wednesday: Thundershowers ending in the morning, partly cloudy rest of day. High 80.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. High 78.
Friday. PM T-storms. High 82.
