SOUTH BEND, Ind. --
The 3D Ryderz Motorcycle Club is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless on Tuesday.
"We don't know people's stories, why they're homeless, or why they don't have things that they need to have to live on a daily basis and be comfortable," said Angie Bradley, the business manager for 3D Ryderz MC. "It's just a passion that we have and we just want to give back."
The dinner will start at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the 3D Ryderz clubhouse on 2035 S Michigan Street in South Bend. The club will serve a full meal including turkey and ham, potatoes, dressing, rolls and deserts.
Thanks to a donation from the community, the club also plans to hand out thermal shirts, hats and gloves at the event.
This is the second week the club has hosted a dinner.
"We're going to do this every Tuesday until the other shelter is opened up," said Bradley, referencing the winter amnesty site that has yet to open in South Bend.
She's also encouraging others to get involved to help the homeless.
"We do come out of pocket unless we get the donations so I try to get people involved as much as we can to help," said Bradley. "But if we have to just continue to come out then we will."
