Muncie couple will have separate trials in 5-year-old's death

MUNCIE, Ind. — A central Indiana couple charged in the death of a five-year-old girl will go to trial. Marcus and Charlene Tabb will go to trial separately in November and December.
Both are charged with neglect in the girl's death.
Police say the five-year-old was attacked with tools and beaten to death in their Muncie home last month.
Two juveniles are also facing aggravated battery charges in that case.
