ND receives funding for milk research

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The milk you drink could get even safer.

The University of Notre Dame was given a $500,000 grant to work with Purdue to develop a new testing system to test dairy products.

The new system should help test for pathogens quicker than is currently possible.

The new test would alert testers to problems within just 15 minutes.
