ND students start traditions for football games

SOUTH BEND — Notre Dame students celebrated the big rivalry right on their own turf.

ABC 57 spoke with some students Saturday who say they celebrate every touchdown in a unique fashion. They put their friends up in the air and do push-ups.

The students set up a big screen in the bottom of their dorm, complete with surround sound, so they can watch the game.

After gamedays, they've started a special tradition.

"Well the gradition is, we all get up really early in the morning and paint ourselves and run through the reflecting pool in front of the Father Hesburg Library for no reason," said ND student John Dunigan.

The students said this tradition will continue until the school drains the water for winter.
