New daycare center coming to Douglas and S.R. 23

Construction has started on a new day care near the Douglas and State Road 23 intersection in South Bend.

According to construction crews, the site will become a new day care center called Rainbow Kids.

Two homes are being torn down to make room.

Construction will run through November.

Workers say the new day care will not have a significant impact on traffic.
