New sidewalk proposed along Cassopolis Street

ELKHART, Ind. -- A much needed sidewalk could be on the way to Cassopolis Street in Elkhart.
The proposed sidewalk would run nearly two-miles.
Elkhart has a $970,000 plan in the works to build the sidewalk from County Road 4 to Bristol Street.
Residents say they are happy to be getting a sidewalk
The city is relying on several grants to pay for the project.
