NILES, Mich. -- This ordinance amendment amends ordinance 491 and revokes ordinance 513 to provide clarification of the Code of Ordinances that pertains adult-use marijuana businesses.

For a microbusiness to be eligible to transition to a retail and grow, it must be a licensed microbusiness, must maintain both retail and grow licenses, must be held in the same facility, and the total number of licenses microbusinesses and retail/ provisioning licenses will remain capped at eight in the city.

All members from the City County were all in favor of the ordinance to be adopted.
