NILES, Mich. – Some local businesses are struggling to stay afloat because of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The owner of El Amigo Pepe in downtown Niles says they have a food truck set up most days of the week because of the pandemic, and are offering carry-out only in their restaurants.
“We know it’s not exciting. Obviously, but we understand its necessary right now, with everything going the way it is. So, we just decided we have to make sure we keep following the regulations and whatever laws come out we’re going to do our best to follow that,” said Eric Mendez, Manager.
The restaurant will have their food truck up and running on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. where they offer traditional Mexican dishes.
