No injuries in crash on Toll Road, lanes open
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—No injuries were reported in a crash on the Indiana Toll Road on August 16.
According to Indiana State Police, Troopers were on scene of the crash on the westbound side of the Toll Road at mile marker 80 around 7:30 a.m. on Friday.
Police said a box truck was down in the weeds, on the side of the road, which can be seen in photos provided by Indiana State Police.
Both lanes are open to traffic and no injuries were reported.
Police did say to expect minor delays once the tow truck arrives.
You may ask, “How does a box truck that is over a guardrail and well off the road get removed?” It takes time, precision, and special equipment. Tom’s 24HR got it done. #Precision #AllInADaysWork #FridayMorning pic.twitter.com/nhf0Vwf3JT
