NILES, Mich. -- Niles Community Schools announced Niles Cedar Lane students will have no school on Monday, Oct. 27.

The school's teachers and principal will be participating in alternative program professional development activities.

District officials note this affects Niles Cedar Lane students only.

All other Niles Community Schools, including Niles Senior High School, will be in session.

School officials encourage students to work on their E2020 classes at home on Monday.

Students may email their teacher for test checks during the school day.
