The Notre Dame football team wrapped up its 12th practice on Thursday. They are just two weeks away from the season opener at Ohio State.
While they are dealing with some injuries, the Irish are focused on being ready for any and everything this season.
"It’s a tough grueling game, that the only way to prepare your team is to make it hard and work at it. If we didn’t have to go out there and bang each other and work really hard and be ready to play on September 3rd, we would do that, but we know as a coaching staff that, this is what’s necessary to prepare your team to play a grueling 12 game season. Guaranteed 12 games and it’s what it takes, until somebody tells me otherwise, you have to trust your preparation and your process to getting your team ready," Head Coach Marcus Freeman said.
You can watch the first ABC57 Kickoff of the season at 7:30 p.m. on September 1. An encore presentation will air on September 3 at 11:30 a.m.
The game airs at 7:30 p.m. September 3 on ABC57, followed by our post-game show.
