Notre Dame falls in the College Football Playoff ranking
ABC 57 SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame has fallen in the College Football Playoff rankings.
The rankings released Tuesday night, dropped the Fighting Irish from #9 to #10.
The latest ranking from the committee comes after Notre Dame defeated Stanford 49-20 on Saturday.
This comes as teams nationally get ready to play in Conference Championships this weekend, while Notre Dame will be back home in South Bend.
The drop for the Fighting Irish comes just days before the College Football Playoff selection show. That's when the committee's official 12-team bracket and the final top 25 rankings will be revealed.
The selection show will air on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. on ESPN.
