‘I think the last two games, they've shown that they can beat any team in the country. And so that's our preparation,” said Head Coach Marcus Freeman.

In addition, the Irish have their hands full on both sides of the ball without tight end Michael Mayer and defensive end Isaiah Foskey.
“You lose that that crutch, right. And at some point, you when in doubt, you thought about 87? Well, he's not out there,” Freeman added.
Aside from business from both players and coaches, the fans of Notre Dame and South Carolina, who traveled to see this year’s Gator Bowl, had plenty to say in regard to how this game will play out.
