Notre Dame hosts annual football coaches clinic

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Some of the best high school football coaches in the country are here in South Bend.

They're here for the annual Notre Dame Coaches Clinic at Purcell Pavilion.  The coaches are taking part in advanced chalk talk sessions with Notre Dame assistants. They're also getting tours of all of the Irish facilities.

Getting a firsthand look at the Notre Dame football environment is not only exciting for the coaches, but for the keynote speakers as well.

"This has been a dream trip for me. I have not been to South Bend before,” said former UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel. “I'm a huge lover of college football and have always followed it very closely whether I was coaching or not.  To be here at the grail of college football is a treat.” 

The clinic wraps up on Saturday.
