Notre Dame joins in on 'Meatless Monday'

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The University of Notre Dame is joining in on the national movement of "Meatless Monday".

The movement is to increase meat-free options on Monday to educate people about the health benefits of eating more meat free meals.

The idea started with the Humane Society.

Students will get the chance to try new dishes like roasted vegetables, beans, potatoes and even vegetable pancakes.
