Notre Dame students raise money for Center for the Homeless

A fundraiser for the Center for the Homeless was held at Siegfried Hall Wednesday.

Alex Campbell organized the Siefgried Hall Day of Man fundraiser.

Campbell says it not only helps the center, it helps give students a different perspective.

"I think we make the issue very real for people. You could certainly walk around campus and say hey we are collecting for the Center for the Homeless. But I think the idea of them realizing how cold we are on a day like this opens their eyes to how cold someone without a home must be, not only today but every day during this very cold season," said Campbell.

Students went around campus wearing just shirts, shorts and flip flops while collecting money for the homeless.
