The undefeated Irish are four quarters away from punching their ticket to the College Football Playoff.
Notre Dame moved to 11 and 0 on the season with 36-3 win over Syracuse in the Shamrock Series.
An electric atmosphere at Yankee Stadium in front of 46,000 fans; a sellout crowd in the Bronx.
“Thought we played well defensively. Disappointed we couldn’t keep the three off the board at the end. Excited to get to spend Thanksgiving with our family in California,” said Notre Dame Captain and linebacker Drue Tranquill.
Head Coach Brian Kelly said the team prepared well all week.
"I don’t know if we ever pinned a shutout against a team that’s putting up 44 points. You go on the field in November against the 12th ranked team in the country. I feel really good about the win," said Kelly.
Up Next: A date with rival USC in Los Angeles and a chance to finish the regular season undefeated.
ABC 57 Saturday Kickoff will be live an hour before kickoff with a special show on the road.
