Obama unveils plan to expand preschool

President Obama unveiled his plan to expand preschool programs Thursday.

The plan is for every four-year-old of low or moderate income families to get the chance at high quality education.

The president spoke in Georgia in front of a federally funded group that provides early education for underprivileged children.

"I can’t imagine a more romantic way to celebrate Valentine’s Day! I proposed working with states like Georgia to make high quality preschool available to every child in America," said President Obama.

His plan will involve more federal funding for states in order to allow them to enroll more children in preschool programs.
