Ohio church to display giant Jesus statue

MONROE, Ohio. -- Notre Dame gets a lot of attention for Touchdown Jesus, but now there's a stretch of Midwest highway that's also getting a giant tribute.
“Hug Me, Jesus,” the nickname for a statue in Southwest Ohio, stands at 50 feet tall and weighs seven tons.
It will be on display at the Solid Rock Church along I-75. That's about 30 minutes from Dayton. The statue is actually a replacement for one that was struck by lightning.
