One dead after Cass County accident

CASS COUNTY, Mich. — One man is dead and a woman is in the hospital after an accident in Cass County.
Officers say a 15-year-old driver hit Adam Koppy, 40, of Jones, Michigan.
The impact caused him to swerve into on-coming traffic where he was then hit by Brenda Smith, 50.
Koppy died at the hospital. Smith is now recovering.
Police say everyone was wearing seatblets. Officers are still searching for clues into what lead to the deadly crash.
