One person crashes into utility poll due to winter conditions

ABC 57 ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department confirmed a vehicle crashed into a utility pole on Old US 33 on Monday at approximately 6:30 p.m.
A 2004 Honda Accord was west on Old US 33, east of the Elkhart Park Drive intersection, when the vehicle slid off the north side of the roadway, colliding into a utility pole.
The 2004 Honda Accord suffered moderate front passenger side damage.
The driver of the vehicle was transported by the ambulance to the hospital for complaint of head pain.
