One sent to hospital after vehicle goes off road, strikes garage, drives through backyard

Clay Fire ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Police and firefighters responded to a residence in the 17000 block of Wilshire Drive just after 10 a.m., Friday, according to St. Joseph County Dispatch.
Authorities confirmed a vehicle drove off the road before clipping a garage and driving through someone's backyard.
This all occurred just off S.R. 23 and N. 30th Drive.
Officials say one person was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained, although the injuries were described as not extensive.
