One taken to hospital after crash at Bittersweet and Lincolnway

OSCEOLA, Ind. – A crash at the intersection of Lincolnway East and Bittersweet Road sent one person to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.
St. Joseph County Officials say the call came in around 1:26 p.m. when a gold minivan traveling eastbound struck a black minivan headed westbound.
Witnesses say the driver of the gold van was slumped over the wheel and crossed the lanes of traffic before striking the other vehicle.
Officials say both drivers were taken to Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The driver of the gold van did suffer serious injuries; however, her condition is unknown at this time.
