WALKERTON, Ind. -- Operation Lend A Hand (OPLAH) has announced it will be open in Walkerton Thursday to accept donations for those affected by storms in Lake Village.

OPLAH Headquarters, located inside Closet of Grace in Walkerton, is planned to be open from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday to accept donated items. From there, OPLAH intends on delivering these supplies directly to Lake Village.

If you wish to offer assistance, but can't donate items, OPLAH will also accept monetary donations through Venmo at "Oplah23" and PayPal at "Operation lend a hand incorporated".

The items OPLAH is asking for include:

• Bottled Water
• Cleaning Supplies
• Garbage Bags
• Storage Totes
• Buckets
• Work Gloves
• Tarps
• Hygiene Items
• Women’s Hygiene Products
• Baby Supplies
• Paper Products
