The calm before an icy storm
ST. JOSEPH, Ind. -- The community showed out as the county prepares to decide if Michiana should welcome in yet another massive data center project.
The St. Joseph County Council is still in that meeting right now with no final vote yet.
The rezoning bill introduced to the County Council with a list of written commitments by the petitioner and a public address to misinformation regarding the project claiming that any concerns regarding water drainage and energy concerns were misinformation on Facebook.
Many supporters in the 200 plus person crowd many of which are local union workers say this is a once in a lifetime chance for St. Joseph County.
To the community it is now or never saying they are worries about income tax rates following the enforcement of Indiana property tax laws that will start next month.
