Parking for South Bend 150th bash

South Bend's birthday is inching closer, and with about 40,000 people expected to attend, the question of where to park is being raised.

Places to park for the festivities:

• St. Joseph High School 
• Jefferson school 
• Epworth's parking lot 
• Main Street lot adjacent to Fiddler's Hearth 
• Main- Jefferson St. lot
• Baer's lot East of the St. Joseph County Public Library 
• Main and Western lot
• Main and Colfax garage 
• 1st Source Double Tree by Hilton garage 
• Leighton garage corner of Michigan and Jefferson street 

Those who are planning on attending like, Shauna Eastman, are excited for what the birthday bash has to offer.  

"Well honestly, we haven't seen much stuff downtown or even around this area. When there is functions like these you are able to get out there and see what South Bend has to offer," said Eastman.

There will be free shuttle services provided this weekend as well.

Drop off locations will be at the bash entrances, which are Seitz Park off Colfax, St. Louis Boulevard and Wayne Street and Wayne and St. Josephs streets.

If you decide to ride your bike it can be secured at those entrances as well.
