Part of Main Street in South Bend to close for two weeks starting Monday

City of South Bend SOUTH BEND, Ind, -- Starting Monday, June 8, Main Street between Marion Street and LaSalle Avenue will close to install a water main for the Madison Lifestyle District development.
The detour route will be Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard via Marion Street and Colfax Avenue. LaSalle Avenue will remain open to westbound and eastbound traffic during construction.
The anticipated reopening date is Friday, June 26, weather permitting.
