Penn High School freshman honored as MDA Goodwill Ambassador

A Penn High School freshman is the MDA Goodwill Ambassador for the state of Indiana!
Niki Losievski was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy as a child, and said she was constantly bullied growing up. But Niki didn't let that stop her.
She turned to karate, and now is a 2nd degree black belt!
She says she is happy to raise awareness about living with muscular dystrophy.
"I can't reach everyone. I can only reach a handful of people. If there are more of us, then everyone can hear our story,” said Niki.
Niki has been the Goodwill Ambassador for northern Indiana for the past two years.
She told us she is excited to travel around the state, and raise money for a worthy case!
